- to close off a cavity at window and door reveals
- to prevent moisture ingress
- to reduce thermal bridging
2. Application of Dacatie
D2000
Dacatie D2000 is an insulated cavity closer which:
- is suitable for flush/standard, or check reveal cavities
- closes any cavity between 50-130mm
(check reveals 50-100mm)
- eliminates moisture penetration around window and door
reveals
- prevents thermal bridging in accordance with building
regulations
- can be made into a robust self supporting frame former
- will accept push-fit window fixing
- accepts all window and door materials (metal, PVCu, aluminium
and timber) all with one universal profile
- has a secondary chamber for additional
timber or metal reinforcement if required
